Yesterday during break at my office, i browsed the net and though i am not a regular user of facebook, i opened the account to stay in contacts with my friends, mentor and colleagues. i didnt log off on my laptop when i closed from work and went home by 6PM.

on my way going home i missed several calls because i dropped the phone in my bag. i was about taking my meal around 8PM when i got a call from a distant friend querying me why i posted nude videos on his wall that his wife was complaining and i should stop it and i replied that i didn't do anything of such then he said that i should check.

immediately i logged on to facebook with my phone and then i checked my news feed and to my surprise i didnt see anything of the nature so i called my friend and told him that i didnt post anything and then he said i should check again which i did and i told him the same thing. he now said i should check my timeline and see verify what i have posted so far in the years and when i did lo and behold, i saw an embarrassing link that has continuously been sharing and tagging almost all my friends, i was shocked. this link would literally share itself and tag 15-18 of my friends. when i saw this, i immediately logged on to facebook with my laptop and logged off from facebook hoping that it has been posting itself due to the fact that i didnt log out and then today i would find a solution to it.

I thought that was all until this morning i logged on to facebook and went directly to my timeline and what i saw this morning shocked me because i currently have 1488 friends and as at now the link has shared itself to almost 25% of my friends and most of my friends have been calling me concerning my postings and complaining that they dont like it.

please i have tried all i can but i dont seem to understand why its still posting. help me if you can because this link postings is really affecting me negatively, its embarrassing. please i really need your help.

the most annoying part is that this link doesn't show on my newsfeed but show on my timeline as if i was the person who actually posted and tagged my friends, it also tags along with it 15-20 friends, for what?

for now i am posting aplogy letters to all my friends.

have u tried browsing a nude site that required u liking their Facebook page before? If yes, I guess that's where the problem is coming from.

It has happened to me but long ago. It was fake offers about winning ipads that was posted to all my friends in form of group messages and on their timelines. It was very annoying as everyone thought i was the one doing it. Deactivate your account temporarily. Thats what worked for me.

it has happen to me too,but i conquered it ...go to settings on your fb account close who can tag me,who can share on my wall,off every thing put it in only me and click report to facebook.

explore your privacy settings .... if u know your way, check the source of the tagged video and remove it from your privacy settings.

look for the link or person doing the posting and the block it

that's d solution deactivating your acct or change your password won't stop the access u have granted to an application. Just follow the above recommendation, remove all apps having permission to post on your wall,after that write a disclaimer n post it on your wall for your friends

1. click on REPORT and select ur options
2. play with the PRIVACY setting(s)
3. log out and disable all linked PORN APPS
4. disable all facebook SYCHNO. APPS
5. write a DISCLAIMER on you wall
6. THANK me later

They told you to watch this video enter your Facebook login...

Cos of your eagerness u couldn't see that phishing was written on the Facebook page and not the real one..
