In all human races, they are people who claim to speak for God. Their usual conjectures had elevated them to a demigod, to the admiration of  their sycophantic followers. These men are everywhere but seem to hold sway in religious groups. They explore courtier personalities & exploit people to a reckless abandon. They are simply manipulators. Our society is religiously profane and that has aided their triumphant ride to stupendous wealth. Their sycophants follow because of what they can gain while gullible masses throng,  believing that God had appointed these men to speak for him. They are pursuing vanity - mammon - in God's courtyards.

Prince Abubakar Audu died at a point of his manifestation. He had spent huge resources, committed his energy and time to return as the governor of Kogi State. He died the day he was supposed to be declared the winner of Kogi State gubernatorial election. He didn't know that the end of his earthly journey was very close. Nobody had ever thought that such thing could happen. The constitution of Nigeria never speculated such a situation. It happened and he was  with 48 hours.

That he died was not as much a surprise as the response of political parties and lawyers in Nigeria. I had thought that we could spend at least one year mourning him and trying to demystify his death. No! I was very wrong. We couldn't mourn him for an hour. His party APC was in distress as to what his death would mean to the position of their party in Kogi State while PDP had seen a window of opportunity to hold on to power. Lawyers and political commentators had divergent views about the position of the constitution. All that happened while the corpse remained with the bereaved family.

What a world! What a life! Your PhD becomes useless the day you die. No matter what and who you are, you will lose everything the day heaven shut your breathe. Everybody abandoned Audu's governorship project as soon as he was confirmed dead. It happened to him, and it's an inexplicable fate of everyone. Repent and follow Jesus today so that your life could have a meaning.
