The House of Representatives has asked the Nigerian Customs Service to stop the act of mounting barricades looking for merchandise that have been brought into the nation.

Subsequent to considering a movement of open significance raised by Temitope Olatoye, the House asked the Comptroller General of Customs to send more personnel to the outskirts to shorten the job of smugglers.

It's only in Nigeria that you see customs littered every road looking to extort money from traders. They even seize goods purchased from Onitsha en route to aba,very bad even under the so called army super controller general.
