The end time truely is near. Many people stil find it hard to believe with excuses that this is not the first time the believers have been clamouring about the end time. Thanks to the End-Time crew on Nairaland who created awareness about this critical occurrence which some people are now turning to jokes and misusing its initial purpose. The following are signs of the end-time...

1. False Bible teachers would be money hungry : They would be smooth talkers, have many followers, and slur the Christian faith (2 Peter 2:1-3) See some at: www.fakemessiah.com

2. Homosexuality would be increasingly evident at the end of the age (2 Timothy 3:3)

3. Earthquakes would be in diverse places (Matthew 24:7). The Bible said there shall be "great earthquakes".

4. Stress would be part of living (2 Timothy 3:1)

5. Many wars would erupt (Matthew 24:6)

6. People would forsake the Ten Commandments as a moral code, committing adultery, stealing, lying, and killing (Matthew 24:12)

7. There would be a cold religious system , in denying God's power (2 Timothy 3:5)

8. Men would substitute fantasy in place of Christian truth (2 Timothy 4:4). This is so evident at Christmas when the birth of the Savior is lost behind the myth of Santa Claus.

9. Deadly diseases would be prevalent (Matthew 24:7). The worldwide increase in AIDS deaths is almost inestimable. Over 160,000 Americans die of cancer each year. Another is the issue of Ebola which claimed alot of lives.

10. The fact that God once flooded the earth (the Noahic flood) would be denied (2 Peter 3:5-6). There is a mass of fossil evidence to prove this fact, yet it is flatly ignored by the scientific world because of its uncanny implication.

11. The institution of marriage would be forsaken by many (1 Timothy 4:3)

12. There would be an increase in famines (Matthew 24:7)

13. Vegetarianism would increase (1 Timothy 4:3-4)

14. There would be a cry for peace (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

15. The possession of Jerusalem would be at the center of international turmoil (Zechariah 12:3)

16. Knowledge would increase (Daniel 12:4)

17. There would be hypocrites within the Church (Matthew 13:25-30)

18. There would be an increase of religious cults/false teachers (Matthew 24:11 & 24)

19. The future would seem fearful to many (Luke 21:26)

20. Humanity would become materialistic (2 Timothy 3:4). The love for material things will increase. Cherishing the things of the world.

21. There would be many involved in travel (Daniel 12:4)

22. The Christian Gospel would be preached as a warning to all nations (Matthew 24:14)

23. Jesus said Christians would be hated "for His name's sake" (Matthew 24:9). Recent bombings worldwide has proved this point.

24: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
(Luke 21:25-26).

25: Youths would become rebellious. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy (2 Timothy 3:2)

26: Men would mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, "for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2 Peter 3:4). The Bible even reveals their motivation, they love lust (verse 3). They fail to understand that a day to the Lord is as a thousand years to us.

God is not subject to the time that He created. He can flick through time as we flick through the pages of a history book. The reason He seems to be silent, is because He is patiently waiting, not willing that any perish, but that all come to repentance.

Give your life to Jesus today, tomorrow might be too late.

op your number 23 is off point, Christians or so called Christians are not specifically targeted in worldwide bombings, terrorism affects us all however the bible refers to a small group of genuine Christians who would walk in the narrow part thus being mocked by the majority

The type of Christians that people look down on to be strange and awkward,

the types that get ridiculed just cos they chose to spread the good news from door to door as instructed by Christ,

the type that try to live by the things they preach despite their imperfect flesh,

the type that preach the truth despite it being unpleasant to their audience,

the type resist age old customs and doctrines that many have merged with the christain faith over the years,

The type that doesn't preach prosperity as their daily sermon.

The type that show genuine love amongst themselves.

MATTHEW 24:14 SAYS THAT THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM (NOT THE GOOD NEWS OF PROSPERITY AND DOMINION) WILL BE PREACHED ALL OVER THER EARTH AND THEN THE END WILL COME

All these are pointing to no end time. 500 years ago, people that lived then had been using the same bible to interprete the same end time stories. 1000yrs ago was same story and still if Christianity can survive the next 500yrs ahead, same story. In fact, each generation after 2000yrs ago have been saying same thing and pointing to same stuffs you listed above.

We have science that's taking care of those things mathematically and telescopically which continue to produce effective results with 99% accuracy. Science had predicted the whole solar eclipses to the next 30yrs or more with perfect accuracy.

All the events and phenomena listed above have been taking place for ages. All these conspiracy theorists are all thriving in pseudoscience and autosugessions to predict future apocalypse and such continue to produce vague and falsehood at it peak.

I can't imagine why humanity for ages continued to rely on falsehood and spiritual holy crap which is lethal rather than contemporary scientific method that is self-correcting, consistent, accuracy of results, less bias etc.

Go and read Ezekiel Chapter 16, from the beginning to the end so that u will get a glimpse of the context with which Ezekiel was writing.

A particular verse there listed the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah (which resulted in their destruction) one after the other.


And as I've said somewhere else, at every point in time in nature, 5-10% of the population is homosexual. It has always been like that from time immemorial till now and will continue that way.
Homosexuality is not becoming more rampant. No.
It's just that because of the population explosion, the amount that equals that 5-10% is also increasing.
And secondly, people are becoming more outspoken about their sexuality instead of in earlier generations when it was more taboo than it is today.
