The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has accused their former leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike of N4b fraud.

According to New Telegraph Newspapers, the group said “Each member also pay N10,000 for Biafra International Passport to Ralph Uwazuruike. Since 1999 to 2014, members have contributed about N300 million to Uwazuruike’s account while about N200 million was also paid into a Zenith Bank account of Confidence Uwazuruike.”

Also, the panel set up to investigate Uwazuruike said “the MASSOB leader has bought houses in many locations in Owerri, including a street he bought and named after himself in New Owerri which comprises 28 plots. MASSOB has contributed nearly N4 billion in the last 16 years which Uwazurike has converted to personal use.”

Uwazuruike has since been expelled and a new leader, Mr. Uchenna Madu, elected. Observers predicted Uwazuruike’s expulsion was coming, because of the war of words between the factional leaders of Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB). In his acceptance speech, Madu asked all Igbo groups agitating for the Biafra nation to come together and close ranks.

My question: How can this be happening in a group that is agitating for Igbo independence? It will definitely be a blood bath if the actualize their dreams i will assure you that. Or what do you think?
