The Senate has approved the 2015 Supplementary Appropriation Bill of N574,532,726,857.
The senate approved the Budget after the third reading done during their plenary session today December 1st.

Yes he left an empty treasury.
There is a loan facility funding this budget and it is mainly to pay for fuel imports.
Also we have a loan ceiling of $10 billion approved for next year. Hopefully we won't take all of it if we are prudent.

Senate did a thorough job on this to avoid future crisis before year end. This amount has covered subsidy for the entire year. The earlier proposed amount only covers till September 2015. This is the kind of engagement we want.
