Mcowubaba:is working where? For us to have constant electricity, the management of the estate where I live paid 10 million naira to some one in PHCN....something we enjoyed easily during GEJs time.... I guess PMB is working. |

justiz5:Did you even read the article? As far I'm concerned the article was about a corruption survey in South Africa and the article even said Nigeria and Ghana are getting worse! What is the euphoria all about? 2 Likes |

menix: What concerns APC in this news report? Some of you are just either dumb or just silly!!! You never believe anything can come out of your country? Or that other countries have their short comings too? Stop dreaming, Nigeria is getting better. Hopefully you will witness when better gets to best. Silly Citizen 1 Like |

BABANGBALI: People like you will always get into trouble by not minding their business. What has my comment got to do with not seeing anything good in Nigeria? Bros learn to mind your business, so that you can live long! |

repogirl: Hold your Estate managers responsible for that. You have a right to electricity supply without having to go and pay #10m to some Phcn Official. Hope you guys were not levied for the #10m? If so, then u guys have been scammed !!!!!!! Send a petition to National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) Know and Fight for your right!!! Distribution Companies have no basis to collect any tarrif from customers except it's for your consumption or for meter acquisition (which is even to be refunded back to you in 3 months after purchase.... That's for the digital meters.) |

South Africa Knocks Nigeria off its Perch as “Most Corrupt” African Country The research shows that corruption has increased in South Africa as well as in Ghana and Nigeria. There is no place in the article where it is stated that Nigeria is now less corrupt. |

PassingShot: I can only lmao hard at this. Nigeria proud themselves of being the most intelligent country in Africa but are unable to comprehend a simple article? This is the craziest thing ever! Now, if anyone has read the article thoroughly its : 1) A report on what citizens perceive 2) It shows the intolerance of corruption by South Africa as being at most high than fellow Africans ( Which is a great thing) 3) No actual audit of corruption cases were done but citizens were surveyed to give opinion What this article mean is: 1) More South Africans are vigilant and not complacent about corruption than their African counterparts 2) If you look at the most stated corruption case by South Africans its the Nkandla-gate which is $20 million vs Nigeria's latest Army gate @ $2.1 billion dollars. Nigerians should more angrier but maybe have gotten used to corruption than their South African counterparts. 3) Imagine $2 Billion being lost to corruption in SA, their citizens would lynch their government reps while Nigeria's are sympathetic to theirs. Conclussion : The article as an opinion of citizens about corruption and a barometer of corruption tolerance. FULL STOP! P/S : NIGERIANS VERY QUICK TO CELEBRATE RUBBISH! THAT IS THE SAD PART OF THIS THREAD! 1 Like 2 Shares |

iheneme: saintandsinnerz:Dont you guys understand english? The article said Ghana and Nigeria are some of the worst affected but Nigeria was the overall worst before south Africa overtook us. This means, we are no longer the most corrupt but we have not improved much also. |
