I am compelled by various comments and post on this forum where people synonymized biafra with igbo, to assert that; Biafra is not an igbo agenda. Biafra is bigger than igbos..... Do you know that not all South Easterns are igbos. We have them in
anaku anambra state, in far away ebonyi and in
abia state.
Biafra is an ideology by a set of people with
similar culture and vision who were under the
political divide of the old eastern region, and
those under the political divide of the old mid-
western region such as aniomas, Asaba etc.
However presently, biafra is a movement for
any ethnic group within South South and South
East, who are tired of the joke called Nigeria
and her system of governance that promotes
hate and oppression against these people's.
Biafra is a name not a geographical location,
biafra is an ideology that stands against hate.
Biafra means freedom, to the Portuguese, the
original owner of the word biafra, it means any
coast or territory East ward... But to us in
Nigeria biafra means freedom, freedom to be
us, freedom from hate to love, from oppression
to prosperity from the land of darkness to the
land of the rising sun.
