Things did not go as planned at the African
Investment Forum in Westminister, London
which held the Dec 1 and 2, 2015. An heated
exchange between President John Mahama of
Ghana and former Nigerian President
Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open
insults with President Mahama losing his
temper and calling General Obasanjo “an
idiot” and a “stupid buffon”.
This was after Obasanjo openly accused the
Ghanian President and his government of
financially contributing 12 million dollars to
Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign. He also
accused President Mahama of blackmailing
and collecting bribes from Nigerian
businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous
properties in Nigeria and South Africa.
It took the intervention of Ugandan President
Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher
President Mahama to a nearby room to
prevent a bigger episode.
The forum, which held from 1st to 2nd
December was attended by African Heads of
States including; Peter Mutharika President
Republic of Malawi, Matata Ponyo Mapon,
Prime Minister Democratic Republic of Congo,
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf PresidentRepublic of
Liberia, H.E. Thomas Boni Yayi President
Republic of Benin, John Dramani Mahama,
PresidentRepublic of Ghana, H. E. Yoweri
Kaguta Museveni, PresidentRepublic of Uganda
and H.E. Charles Gaëtan Xavier-Luc Duval,
Deputy Prime-Minister Republic of Mauritius.
Ministers, Private equity firms and investors
were present to discuss opportunities for
investment and development in African
Economies.

Obj, the man who deserves insult.

He wont mind his business. He wont respect his age, count his words and chose his statements.

Anyway the stroy seems what somewhat unbelievable since obj successfully destroyed a drunken master president I don't see any reason to belabor the point to allege lackeys.

Obasanjo thought ghana's president were the same as the puppet Nigerian puppy presidents that are so scared of telling him who he is to his face.

I am glad the ghana president showed Obasanjo that his name was neith goodluck jonathan nor muhammedu buhari that were scared of him revealing the corrupt past.
