Lol.. That's if you don't read, it's an A'level programme, so what do you expect... Simplicity right??Read your books well and get above the points for your course, that's all. The exams are always hard tho, but if you read, you've got no problem it's 100%guaranteed.

@op,i think jupeb is more recognized in the south compare to ijmb.and from my findings,ijmb lectures will be tutored by external bodies then u sit for the A'level exam in Abu,unilorin or ilaro poly.but as for jupeb,u will obtain the form from most university in the southern part of the country,receive luctures on campus and even sit for a mock exam before going for the A'level exam.the choice is yours.

This is the reason it is good to weigh your options should you not be admitted before choosing a university. Had it been you chosen unilag, UNIBEN or any nuc approved institutions for JUPEB Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) that will grant you automatic ticket to 200l of the institution

You would not have been confused by now.


My advice to you as it is now is

If you wish to do pre-degree in unizik, that is cool but that does not mean you must choose unizik as your choice of university as pre-degree is never a criterion for giving admission in fact there is preference for wasting your money to do the pdegree.

But for the experience that's all so choose unizik not in your next jamb if you truly want to gain admission

i started out doing a diploma programme before I finally got Admission into the university. All that is now in the past lol. I'd advice you to do the pre-degree programme. Its better off than you just staying at home and letting a whole 1year pass by. Pre-degree is a preparatory programme that prepares you for a degree course or programme. Doing a pre-degree will give you an upper hand when you finally get admitted into the university, because you'll no longer be a novice or jjc whatever. In uni uyo, pre-degree is a 1year programme and you can get direct entry that's if you're successful. You can even still register for jamb while still doing pre-degree thereby doubling your chances of getting admitted for a degree course or programme. I'll advice you to do it and you won't regret doing it.

I don't know of other schs but in unilag, they call it foundation program nd u gain admission into 200lvl if u pass the Exam (JUPEB )

The fee no be here o, 350k + money for Exam + money for reg form, all adds up to say 400k
