The final group matches of the UCL goes down shortly. So far, one English has been eliminated and one has progressed to the next round of the competition atop of their group. Of course, both teams are from Manchester, the former - United, while City are the later. It's the turn of London teams to credibly represent English soccer especially at a time when the League is at the risk of losing one of its slots in the UCL and have the number of teams representing it to 3 in 2016. The London have decisive matches to execute this evening, in the interest of EPL. It would be unacceptable, should both teams be sent parking. We take a look at the possibility of each team progressing.

ARSENAL
The gunners stand 3rd with 6 points and Olympiacos, who they have to usurp, to qualify for the next round are 2nd with 9 points. Bayern Munich have already gone through as table leaders. To qualify, winning at Athens would not be enough for Arsenal, they need to win with the margin of at least two goals - given that they go head-to-head with Olympicos who have defeated them at Emirates earlier.

Prediction - Arsenal will not go through. I do not see them stopping Olympiacos from scoring.


CHELSEA
Chelsea and Porto are 1st and 2nd respectively on the log, with 10 points each. Dynamo are 3rd with 9 points. This is one of the most complicated situations in the competition, with multiple scenarios capable of emerging. Any of the top 3 teams are capable of finishing first and any can end up in Europa League. To qualify, Chelsea must win (finish 1st) or play-out a draw (finish 2nd). Losing to Porto can only help, if Dynamo lose to Maccabi (which is very unlikely).

Prediction : Chelsea will beat Porto to finish leaders.
