Nicki Minaj's brother, Jelani Maraj on Wednesday 9th December appeared in court at the Nassau County courthouse in Mineola, New York for a preliminary hearing on a rape case. Jelani was accompanied to the court house with his mother Carol and lawyer Andrea Zellan. He was accused of multiple rapes on a 12-year-old girl. Meanwhile,his sister Nicki Minaj didn't show up in court but posted a $100,000 bail on him last week. He earlier claimed he was facing medical issues on December 3 when he was arrested and was arraigned from his hospital bed. Jelani is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual conduct against the pre-teen. Each charge carries a sentence of nine to 25 years in prison.
