Kim Jong-Un has executed 70 government officials since he took power in late 2011. Despite the rumours, here are ten things that are still banned in North Korea and may get people executed.

1. Watching Television
Last year North Korea reportedly publicly executed 80 people for watching South Korean television shows. Authorities forced some 10,000 people, including children, to watch the execution.

2. Believing in religion
North Korea claims to offer religious freedom but a Christian woman accused of distributing the Bible was publicly executed for the crime.

3. Drinking Alcohol
In 2013 a North Korean military officer was executed for disrespecting late Kim Jong-il by drinking alcohol during the 100-day mourning period.

4. Driving
Only state officials are allowed to own a car. It is estimated that only one in every 100 people in North Korea own a car.

5. Playing Music
All music in North Korea is controlled by the state and must glorify the regime. Decadent Western Music is a ‘Crime against the State’ and playing it will get you

6. International Calls
Making a call to someone outside North Korea will get you killed. In 2007 a man was gunned down inside a stadium for making numerous international calls. Six people were also crushed to death in stampede after the execution.

Re: 10 Trivial Everyday Things Banned With Death Penalty In North Korea by Osu175(m): 3:21pm On Dec 11, 2015
7. Talking About The Government
Citizens caught criticizing or discussing the North Korean Government will be sent to ‘Re-Education Camps’. Prisoners will endure hard labor and ideological indoctrination to relearn the values of the regime.

8. Travelling
The Ultimate Crime is for a North Korean to leave their Country. Defectors flee to China for Refuge but if they are caught by authorities they ll be forcibly returned for execution.

9. Watching Porn
Viewing or Selling Pornography can also get you the death penalty as punishment. In 2013, Leader Kim Jong-Un had his Ex-Girlfriend executed in front of her family for making a sex tape.

10. Surfing The Internet
North Korea’s State-Run Internet is pure Propaganda & can only be used with authorization.

If we allow those selfish beings that used social media to succeed but want to crucify it now, Nigeria will soon get to that level

Those without the knowledge of Political foresight and building of a strong and patriotic orientation will be quick to criticize Kim and his tactics...

Almost all world powers today were built on Fascist and Authoritarian ideologies...

Generations to come will know the worth of Kim of his family...

Its quite evident to the few who follow history....

North Korea is more developed infrastructurally than any African nation. And all thinks to the autocratic Kim dynasty. They helped build a nation from the dust and weed Japan left them...

The Strength of Russia today is as a result of the dealing of Autocratic Tsars, case in point -,Catherine The Great. She was fierce and swift with her policies but they were the ones that gave Russia a place in the round table of World powers.

The place of Germany Before the world war was the very top of nations.... And all thanks to Hitler.

China became a nation to be Jealous of after Various autocratic Emperors helped shape her history and made landmark reorientation via the suspension of human rights.

SUMMARY
I am not an advocate of Totalitarianism but it has helped most nations who now practice democracy to get where they are now. North Korea too will depose the Kim dynasty one day but they will be grateful for all they have done if proper and objective reflection is done.

Thank you. Finally someone with a brain on this website.

Africa needs some one like Hitler, instead of following this blind stupid democracy that will never work in Africa.

We shouldn't celebrate this murderer. Yes I admit africa need tough totalitarian but is africa matured for it ? No.
We have had idi amin, sani abacha, Mugabe , etc and did they succeed? No. With the exception of Ghadaffi of Libya, totalitarians in Africa are selfish and undisciplined.

Lemme ask you, which will you choose for holiday, N.Korea or S Korea? China or Japan? US or Russia?
Totalitarianism is ONLY good when the leader has a good heart and trust me they hardly do

Democracy is for the matured and developed nations.

Africa will get there someday but not yet....

Socialism that us followed with Fascism is the only way Africa can move. Julius Nyerere tried it but his people were too naive to nurture it....

Pity.

There is something called Sovereignty. And Russia is an ally of NK so they won't give a security vote to invade them. And an anonymous vote is needed by the world powers before engaging them...

Your opinion is rather from a moral and ethical perspective than a logical perspective. Understandably tho... The world has been configured to think that Democracy and the respect of human right is the ultimate political theory.

Well, sorry Mate. Authoritarian government works. And I would rather visit Russia for holidays than any nation you listed there. Kremlin awaits.

I agree that most Autocrats gets greedy but I speak of the ideology and not the people. If the ideology is practiced, it works just fine... Stalin and Isabella of Spain being case in point again.

Democracy does not work in ethnically, linguistically and religiously diverse nations with a history of animosity. The only way to administer Africa is through some sort of enlightened despotism.

You mentioned Catherine the Great. Peter the great, Frederick the great and Napoleon are other great examples of the types of leaders Africa needs. I also think leaders like Hitler follow in this tradition of iron-fisted rule for the good of the people.

Mao Zedong was responsible for over 70million deaths in China thru his policies, China is probably too far, saddam hussein is another of your great totalitarians, Sam doe and Charles tarlor of Liberia (though not totalitarians but dictators and potential ones), Mobutu, Omar bashir, too many to mention. I am not talking out of ethics but africans ain't matured for a totalitarian government. There is always that tendency to turn the government into a semi monarchy where the leader dies and hand over power to their sons like what happened in N.Korea . yes totalitarianism has its advantage if its well managed but again Africa isn't ripe for it.

African people are nurtured for it, more so than any other people on earth. The problem rests solely on the leaders themselves. The average IQ of Africa is 70, leaders are typically only 1 or 1.5 standard deviations from the average.

So the African authoritarian leaders where around 85 to 90 IQ, not nearly enough to run a modern economy. Look at the IQ of the Nazi leadership http://law2.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/nuremberg/meetthedefendants.html 120-130

The leadership of the Japanese facists was probably in the stratosphere, same with the soviets and the Chinese.

High IQ authoritarian governments work... providing rapid development while less intelligent ones abuse their power. One of the key things the IQ test measures is ability to delay gratification, future facing orientation vs present orientation and level of separation from base desires. All of these things are associated with ones level of abstract reasoning.

So when you look at an African despot like Mubutu you see that his main problem was low IQ; greed, shortsightedness and failure where just the result of the low IQ not the result of the authoritarian structure of his government.

The black race is so fucking hopeless, a bunch low IQ brain-dead consumers.

Look at this picture below. They build this by themselves, the engine, the rocket, the nuclear reactor everything. Nigeria cannot even build a damn generator on its own. Which is worse? the country that cannot even build a generator or the country that can build nuclear weapons while being sanctioned by 95% of the world?

I would replace the Nigerian government with Kim-Yong Ching-Chong-whateverthefuck his name is any day of the week

Fine maybe we need a bit of a dictator and iron fist and some kind of continuity not change of government every four to eight years which impeeds development
But i dont agree with totally taking away human rights from people
