Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, has directed that the 10 months arrears of salaries owed all health workers in the state should be cleared immediately. Although the government press statement signed by the Governor’s media aide, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, explained that “government delayed the payment of the health workers’ salaries to enable it resolve the issues of certain questionable allowances and gross case of unseriousness on the part of the health workers”, Vanguard however gathered that “the health workers preferred to forego the salary since it was unreasonably and inexplicably slashed by government”. Apart from the health workers, Governor Okorocha also directed that all the workers should be paid their salaries up to 10 months. His words: “The truth is that there was never a time the state government intended to owe the health workers in the state. “The only thing was that the government was not satisfied with health workers’ conduct and their poor service delivery to the people, despite the huge amount spent on the payment of their salaries and allowances.” http://www.spicyglobalgist.com/2015/12/okorocha-orders-payment-of-10-months.html

Thank GOD!! But imagine 10 months of unpaid salary. Nigeria is death trap. Yet he spent millions in government house daily Thank God I don't have a role model in Nigerian in Politicians |

Is either another election near or a demon flogged him in his sleep. Oh sorry, he deducted their salary, which shows that paid them some so that he can keep the rest to himself. Make be know say EFCC don wake up shaooo in all he does especially when PDP takes over from him. |

We were screaming this all through the past months,some people were here to say we were only telling lies against the governor, how can I lie against my own governor  ?this is just one out of many....No civil servant who retired from the civil service got pension this year!! |
