Taking FUNAAB as a case study. Applicants were instructed to check back on 20th for the list of shortlisted candidates, jamb debunks the use of the point grading system, now by what criteria would Jamb use for the shortlisting or do applicants just pray and hope they are shortlisted without knowing on what basis the selection would be done

There is option of awaiting result... "AR" is among the options

Why are people confusing others with what they don't know?
1. There is space for awaiting result (AR). Funaab would later open the portal to allow those involved to update their O'level result. The only uncertainty is that Funaab might not wait for Neco result to be released. I used awaiting result when i was seeking admission so i know wha i am saying.
2. Funaab being an Agricultural school doesn't have anything to do with other non-agricultural courses offered. Get your facts right.

JAMB Enables Portal To Check Institution You Have Been Posted For 2016 Admission

As promised by the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB), the portal for candidates to determine the institution they have been posted for 2016 admission has been enabled.
Candidates can actually check the institutions they have been posted for 2016 admission.
The portal is yet to be made official on its website, which goes to show that the candidates details are still being uploaded.
So if you check and it does not display your details, you can always check back.

With the posting being released by jamb, does FUNAAB think applicants who haven't registered and didn't find their name in Jamb's list still register?

as far as FUNAAB is concerned and you want to study any science course you need chemistry in your Olevel and it has no substitute. only Biology/Agric or a credit pass in maths/ a pass in physics. then you're not supposed to sit for economics in your Jamb, did you even consult the brochure before filling your form?
