Referee fitness test is one of the must difficult uphill task a referee has to pass to be considered fit to play match.It involves 25 second quick jogging to cover a distance of 50 to 100m and10 second fast walk. One set is made up of 400m. A complete set require is 400m for 15 times.
Any referee that failed the test will not play any match. Referees are paid based on match played. Most referees want to pass this test by all means. Even those with healthy issues will plead and use all tricks so that they will participate.
