Who's this dummy OP trying to fool? They are simply positioning the plane to "park well" and not to start the engine. I can only guess the dummy hasn't been to an airport before that's why he thinks that they are trying to start it.

some planes, not all of them. Some still reverse to taxi around before taking off.
