ACN In January 2012 Said Fuel Price Should Have Been N34.03 Per Litre by Nation12: 9:48am On Dec 24, 2015 |
Source PM News Published on January 2, 2012 "ACN said it remains convinced that fuel subsidy removal is not in the interest of Nigerians, hence will not support it, and that – based on informed analysis – the average true price of a litre of fuel is 34.03 naira, which means Nigerians have been overpaying for the product." http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/01/02/fuel-subsidy-removal-president-jonathan-needs-help-acn/ As at that then, 1) It was said that Nigerian had been over paying for the product 2) AC is informing us that our refineries are now functioning and even the ones not functioning will improve shortly 2) Also the price of crude at the international market was higher as at 2012 but is now is lower in 2015 and will most likely reduce further in 2016 if Americans continue pushing in their product. What do you think should be the ideal fuel price in 2016 and why do you think so? Good Morning |
