according to African News Today, the UK parliament has moved a motion for the conduct of a referendum in respect to the agitations for the state of Biafra. It would be recalled that there has been pockets of protest that started in Anambra state and spread to other states of the South Eastern Nigeria and some states of the South South, following the arrest and continous detention of the Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu. There can never be free referendum without war... upon referendum between south and north Sudan there was still war.... before Russia annex crimea there was war... the only country that was lucky without cold war was scotland. And upon referendum the country was not granted...the country is still under UK... if referendum. will take place the people of Nigeria should be expecting war again... I know the Biafrans are ready for war because they are well equipped... but there is no Co operation between them. The most active state about Biafra is Anambra state for now, may be other states in South East are watching them to know how to support ... most South South will never join Biafrans.... let's wait and see how second civil war will start.... 1 Like |

We have already fought a war before which till date is still the most brutal in Africa. The whole world knows about it. Today, a referendum will be requested of the Nigerian government of which she is bound to follow. However, if the gods really want to punish her, they will make her stubborn by making her defy all sorts of reason after which sanctions upon sanctions will be slammed on her. You will be surprised how the biafrans will survive that period. The land be desolate and penury will abound therein. After some years, the import dependant Nigeria will be heavily weakened thereafter will the balkanization be as easy as moi-moi. 1 Like |
