Dance is a sequence of rhythmic steps movements usually performed to music for pleasure, exercise or social interaction. Every Culture has its own unique dancing steps. Music on the other hand in any form created by organizing rhythm and sound made using musical instruments and sometimes singing.


Singing and dancing to God is an effective way of pulling down the power of God . There are situations in life that you might face where you only need to sing and dance your heart out and God will intervene without you praying. But First your song and dance must be acceptable by God.


Music has the power to drive change. it can cause a revolution, inspire good or evil. it can initiate destruction and can also uplift the soul. it can bring peace and calmness and can also serve as a catalyst for violence. The Devil, our adversary is very much aware of the power of music and has designed a method to capture the group of people who crave more for it, the youths.



With the capturing of the youth he has been able to penetrate the house of God with strange "Music and Dance" He has been successful in persuading the church to bring in worldly music and also the dance steps used in club and parties. The church being naive of this scheme see nothing wrong in them and with it.


As Christian there are some you should not listen to and some dance steps you should not learn. we are suppose to be different from the world in all areas. Anything that this world produce usually lead to evil. John 4:24.


Music is just a chain of sounds string together, but it is what they are used for that makes them Holy or Sinful. There are some musicians you should not listen to their songs. Their Lyrics is filled with languages we should not be identified with. By their fruits you will know them and the abundance of their heart their mouth sings.


Worldly Musicians shouldn't be your role model. Today you hear Christians say they are fans of Wiz kid, Olamide, Young thug, Rick Ross, Kanye West E.t.c. which should not be the case. Their songs do not enhance our relationship with God. 1 Peter 2:9 Instead they draw us away from God.


You might want to ask, "Are all secular Music Sin?". If does not glorify God, If i encourages faithlessness and ungodliness if the lyrics are immoral , then yes it is sinful. 1 john 2:15-17. Some Secularized Christians will want to come up arguments on why they listen to worldly music and learn the dance steps introduced by these worldly musicians. Some say they dance it at home and in the church so they wont go to club .

Some will say that this dance steps can be used to evangelize souls. Some will rather say the spirit of God would inspire them through the music.



One thing a christian should know is that its impossible for purity to come from polluted fountains James 3:11-12. We have the freedom to choose what we listen to , but if does not honor God , it will be the detriment of our souls. It would be a very worldly believer who would claim that the holy spirit inspires secular music.


While this Music comes from Human Thoughts, Philosophy, Emotions and Satan. God created music, therefore it is Spiritual in nature and affects the spirit, soul and body of man.


Satan Knows that by corrupting this gift he will rob God of his glory. You should ask yourself If God is ever glorified through the Lyrics of the majority of Songs written today.

Truly is not every sounds that will be dance to,as everyone is passing messages of its his spring,if you praising God there know how special you're to do,it depends on how the holy spirit lead you.
