Definition: The advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.

Now I've submitted the true definition of Feminism, be patient enough to check out the short story below about the cons of Feminism in our Society everyday.

Nora was the kind that wanted to enjoy her teen years. She was that fictional kind of young girl, that was so pretty that many called her a ripe fruit way too often.

She was only 16 but her beauty continued blooming each and everyday. She admired herself daily anything she arose up from her slumber and whenever she was returning back to it.

Her friends would compliment her in every dress. Her hair was ebony, shiny and wavy. Her legs were the perfect shape and colour. Her skin was just in match with the colour of her hair and her amazing set of teeth. Nora was therefore perfect.

There came that certain age when she wanted to know more about being a female, especially as she was approaching 17 and almost out of her Secondary School incarnation days. She felt she deserved a tad of freedom in her Life. But she was restricted to go to parties, unlike her friends.

She was envious of them and also her twin brother, Nelson, who never missed out on any party. He was exactly the same age as herself but things were so different between the two of them.

Nelson was free to do whatever he wanted and their parents let him do so. They protected Nora so much, making her insecure and vaguely unhappy. She felt she deserved much more.

Then, Nora decided to ask the Online world why it was so different in raising boys than girls. Girls are always so protected and treated differently by their guardians and older folks, unlike the boys. She wanted to learn more, for she was highly desperate and hungry for answers. She wanted to fight for something she was lacking.

Now that the short story piece is over, I think I may have a few answers to Nora's questions. I feel a lot of other young girls like myself may have similar questions as well.

This might not turn out to be a Feminist post after all. But the main question is actually, why do boys get raised differently than girls? Is it because girls make babies? True. Boys can make another girl make a baby as well (True too!). But we are the same. Laws and customs made things so different, making Life grow into something else each and every new day.

It is actually not so scary after all. All it takes is a little time and a lot of knowledge. For more information, hook up with more Feminist/Feminism posts on the Internet for further help and support.
