The Federal Government has declared Friday, January 1, 2016, as public holiday to celebrate the New Year. The Minister of Interior, Lt-Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (rtd), urged Nigerians, irrespective of their religious inclinations to inculcate the spirit of the season as exemplified by love, joy and peaceful coexistence.
