Some spouses are preferred more than others because of where they come from. There are sterotypes about certain places, my people might tell you something like this, don't marry from onitsha, there ladies are troublesome and divide families, don't marry from okija and ihiala, they tend to be very stingy, don't marry from Arondizogu, they tend to be very ardent in black magic and traditional practice, don't marry from asaba, those people are not real igbos, don't marry from aba and abakaliki, they can be very violent. Is it dat you don't see any beautiful girl of Anambra origin to marry, someone we can atleast understand their customs and our way of life tally...
