Golf 3, 1.4L, 1997 I came down from my car yesterday, tried to lock it with key, and discovered that the central locking pump has stopped humming. Annoyed and confused, I had to make do with manually locking and opening each of the doors. My central lock has failed before, but on that occasion, at least the pump still hummed ceaselessly, and the problem turned out to be a leak in the vacuum pipe which I fixed. Now, no sound at all from the pump . I also can't figure out the central locking fuse, even after checking online . I could have sworn I knew it before. Any ideas? |
