Following the removal of subsidy on PMS on the 1st day of January, 2012 by the Federal Government of Nigeria and the attendant spontaneous social and political upheavals that greeted the policy, the House of Representatives in an
Emergency Session on the 8th of January, 2012 set up an Ad-hoc Committee to verify and determine the actual subsidy requirements and monitor the implementation of the subsidy regime in Nigeria.

Following is the extract from the report on those who hold Nigeria ransom by collecting subsidy payment but never supplied products:

29. Marketers who obtained FOREX but did not import petroleum products should be referred to the relevant Anti- Corruption Agencies with a view to verifying what they used the FOREX for:

It is believed that these companies deliberately refused to appear because they had something to hide. The relevant Anti- Corruption

Is it not pertinent that while PMB is calling for the review of a document prepared by someone with tainted character it is wise to have the person investigated? You can't indict someone based on such reports as it might have been biased.
