If you Want to get into PC gaming on the cheap, get an Alienware alpha. Those regularly sell for less than 400USD.

GPU there is equivalent to the 750ti and will run games at slightly better than Ps4 quality
my beef with this device is that the GPU is soldered to d mother board...(No means of upgrading ) but I believe a GPU amplifier should help matters...PS: the size is d selling point...almost d same size with DSTV decoder

1080p and the drivers are updated regularly.

Then there's something wrong with your setup.

A 960 should easily be hitting 1080p at high settings.
