LADOKITES never experience this. We dominate and dictate the pace within the labour market. If in doubt, i'm sorry there's no solution! grin grin grin

Could this be true ... Those ladokites are from which school... I've heard about them for every nook and cranny of big companies like FMCG, Big4, Energy&Power, MNCs,IOCs....

I got this job link from a friend and decided to apply but was surprised when I discovered only a selected handful of federal and private universities can apply. What do we call this? University or Educational Discrimination?

Here is the job link: mobile./job/442817/graduate-trainee-lorache-consulting-in-lagos?ref=/

That is the reason our graduates need to be creative and stop looking for these useless white collar shit.

Not unusual.

Even in UK, employers often require "Red Brick" or "Russell Group" university degrees.

These universities almost all are among top 80 schools in World Ranking.

Where does the best 9ja rank? I guess well above 3000 at best. cheesy grin

Lautech means, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

The only university owned by two states (probably why we are the best state university in the country grin.)

To the OP, there is no such thing as Discrimination against State University graduates. It's can't happen.

Clearly, some organizations will prefer graduate from certain universities. It's very normal. Only thing we have to do is to prove you are even better than applicants from the HR's preferred institutions.

I have seen local students beat foreign grads to Jobs.
I have seen 2:2 students beat 1st class grads to jobs
I have seen inexperienced grads beat experienced applicants to jobs.

The only consistent thing about the above is that each one of them have to prove that are indeed better.

So lautech is state, I use to think it was federal.
Op, nothing new. Some Universities abroad would also not accept candidates from states universities in Nigeria.

Lmao like? How many universities in Nigeria recycle their own waste and use it for alternative energy? Or have invited Nobel laureates to give public lectures more than once? Or have a Nobel laureate as a part time staff? Or generate their own electricity? Or have plans to build a stadium? Or have business relationships with Microsoft and Samsung Or have large touchscreen monitors in every classroom? With high internet speed and10gb monthly data per student? Jokers. Tell me if your school can do any of these. Rep Covenant University.
