This report is true.I live and work in Kwali area council and i can verify this report.I was equally shock when faced with this situation as i was recently transfered there.

Heard about this stuff on the radio 2 to 3 weeks ago, now it's on Nairaland.

To those who are thinking this can not or did not happen in Abuja due to it being the capital city must be seeing Abuja from the eyes of AMAC area council alone. It is in AMAC you hear about Gwarimpa, Asokoro,Maitama, Garki e.t.c where the Big men stay and where most people(in Nigeria) know as Abuja.

Meanwhile, Abuja has other area councils Abaji,Kwali,Kuje e.t.c which do not have that mordern city look with some of them having hidden towns and village settlements.

I kinda disagree with this thread.

Gwagwalada is not even the right word for the place you are referring to, it is Gwagwalado in the tongue of the inhabitants of the land which means (plain land). You can verify that from the paramount ruler of Gwagwalado ( the aguma of Bassa) in his palace..

The 3 places you mentioned Gwagwalado, kuje and kwali is dominated majorly by the Bassa gbazhigala and the gbaghis.

I can categorical tell you that we the Bassas don't slay twins because we see them as blessings from God and Women who bare twins are revered to as fertile land (Bassa). The Bassa and Gbaghi share similar customs and traditions that's why they have been able to live together for so long.
Beside I have also stayed for so long in the places you have mentioned and I have not heard, seen or witness any of such the article mentioned.

The truth is our media houses don't care about _shit if it's not political or has the potential to make them money. That's why you see them chasing the first lady's occasions and loitering Aso Rock as opposed to reporting news straight from the front lines of Sambisa.
Not concluding that this news is authentic, I'm just drawing out a reason why we've never heard of it till today.
