The stage is now set for the final Legal fight to begin between the Rivers State Governor Barrister Nyesom Wike and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress Dr Dakuku Adol Peterside over the outcome of the April 11 Governorship election in Rivers State.
The Supreme Court had fixed today Friday 15th January 2016 for hearing of the Appeal by Governor Nyesom Wike against the December 16 2015 Judgement of Justice Dougban Memsen led five-member Appeal court panel which upheld the nullification of the governorship election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission in Rivers State.
Recall that both the Rivers State Governorship election petition tribunal headed by Justice Sulieman Ambursa and Appeal Court headed by Justice Dougban Memsen had ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a fresh election in the entire
Rivers State within 90days.
But Governor Nyesom Wike in exercise of his Legal right Appealed both Judgement at the Apex court.
It was exclusively learnt that the matter would have come up today for hearing, but the Court shifted it to Next Week.

APC really needs to campaign well, some of the ordinary people hiding under the guise of tribal and religious sentiments are saying a lot of evil about APC and PMB.

My prayer goes to Wike's vindication at the Court because with the jagajaga and scatter scatter way of running government APC is currently perpetuating now, I don't think any reasonable human will want them in Rivers. From doctored budget, inconclusive elections to flagrant display of disrespect to the judiciary the list keeps growing......

Time has a way of revealing the truth and exposing lies, hate that is being created and fed against APC can be later redirected at other tribes within the state. The same way the guns of the political class has created a horde of kidnapping rapists in Rivers State.
