Those of you looking for quick results in just 8 months and wanting the stolen money back quick let me explain in a simplistic manner why it will take time:

1. A lot of the stolen money were used to purchase real estate in many countries

2. Some of the money purchased businesses

3. Some were used to purchase shares in companies in Nigeria in the past 30 years or so. So the share values in many Nigerian banks were inflated as a result of fake income not REAL income.

These top three listed about are the tip of the iceberg in trying to recover stolen monies of the past 30 or more years of looting.

In fact children and grandchildren of past government officials in Nigeria are spending the looted monies in Nigeria and overseas.

Some of the looted monies already spent sending their children to school in UK and USA and getting medical treatment.

So really most of the stolen money of past administrations will not be retrieved as it will be hard to trace.

Can you imagine how Nigeria would have been if these monies weren't stolen?
