Nigerian officials in UAE have been asked to declare assets following the President Buhari's agreement with His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on recovery of stolen funds in the country.
Nigeria has sought a declaration of assets from its UAE-based officials, according to a report.
It was reported widely during the week that Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has given the Nigerian embassy in the UAE until March 31 to compile a list of all current and former officials with assets in the country.
In a Sahara Reporters story published on January 22, the website claims to have been given a list of prominent Nigerians with assets in the UAE. Among the names included were that of former First Lady Patience Jonathan, former comptroller-general of customs Abdullahi Dikko, former petroleum minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, and former attorney-general and minister for justice Mohammed Bello Adoke.
The news comes less than a week after, to discuss ways in which to strengthen bilateral relations.
On the same day, UAE Minister of Justice Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi and his Nigerian counterpart Abubakar Malami signed four agreements, including an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal affairs and agreement on the extradition of criminal fugitives.

All these noise about asset declaration will still meet the requirements of that country and those that owned the properties definitly will have something to back it up in terms of their respective earnings, secondly the UAE has a constitution that is one thing nigerians forgot, unlike here we don't obey rule of law, buhari shouldn't be targeting his enemies and end up destroying nigeria,no part of the world you visit without nigerians having properties there,IBB alone owns chains of properties in egypt likewise buhari himself, this man should be adviced properly else he'll plunge nigeria into anarchy and chaos.

Come to think of it, is APC going to rule this country forever? there is no benefit of this corruption fight, right? are people that made money legally worried about the fight? is your family member being witch hunted? Should I be bothered about who is been fought? does the later bother about my own fights? did the former administration bother to fight? or would it have been a fight against itself? is the fight, fighting back?

In fact, I don't care. Buhari continue to fight but remember your words that every action has its consequences.

Funny!

Bola Tinubu succinctly put it in 2003 or thereabout that "Buhari is a destabilizing factor"

Hitler made the German economy to prosper and as such must have had supporters until he plunged the whole world into anarchy.

I Swear I Regret Being A Nigerian - Few Years Back, Malaysia Came To Seek Support From Nigeria Because Their Economy Is Bad And Worse, But Nigeria Said No.

But Now, Go To Malaysia - You'd Cry For Nigeria

Nairaland has made me to realize that the majority of Nigerians are brainless zombies.

Nigerians what do we really want?? We want buhari to turn Nigeria into heaven overnight but we hate his fight against corruption. Very soon, water will be pricier than oil and all we can do is wail? How do we except him to fund the budget? by shitting dollar notes from his ass?

I can't shout, if you don't like the fight against corruption, pls board the nearest canoe to Liberia. Its visa free and there's lots of Ebola and Lassa fever for your pleasure.
