Let me think first... Implement confab report...get true federalism...go 100% resource control...and finally get state or community police. Both power and resources belongs to the people it is their natural endowment from God. 56 Likes 8 Shares |

Tarkwa Bay is the safest beach in Nigeria due to the low ocean current experienced on the beach making even a non-swimmer to enjoy the water; unlike other beaches. The resident should be careful and not let the government take-over my vacation spot 35 Likes |

If the govt can take it over and resettle the inhabitants if truly they have legal titles to the place then I support. These ilegalities simply can't continue. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Nice.. Its time we take off the kid gloves when dealing with these host communities. The lands where these pipelines run through are properly acquired by the Government and yet these community folks keep blowing up the Pipelines and hoping to get compensation for the spillage. Evict those communities and militarise the place with a shoot at sight order. This Economic sabotage has got to stop. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

comos: I doubt if the Ijaws own that place. There's NO way the Ijaws can own ANY part of Lagos, since we all moved there for greener pastures. I'm very familiar with that bay and have hundreds of Ijaw brothers and sisters but that's doesn't mean the Ijaws own Tarkwa bay. At Topic: The FG should do more intelligence in that axis or fish out the vandals. Most of the vandals live either in the community, thereby villages or CMS....its very easy to isolate these guys. Rarely do the vandals come from outside the riverine communities. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Implement policies that will better the life of an average Nigerian, Then cutting corners to make money won't be so rampant. Until that is done, You guys will continue to cry foul and blame people for every action. There is poverty in the land Oga, Get that into your skull 6 Likes |

Saw this on nta network news last night. It was really an eyesore. After stealing and vandalizing pipelines, they will still demand for amnesty and when the government refuses, they start protesting and bombing. 1 Like |

Is oil not gone? Are we suppose to be talking about oil at this time when the price of oil is $28 per barrel at the international market and with a further downslide of the price with the resumption of the republic of Iran into the league of international oil exporter after the lifting of international sanction. Let President Buhari, the finance minster kemi adeosun, agriculture minister, audu ogbeh start thinking agriculture. our long throat for oil money done do! If we massively invest in agriculture it will clear our street of the army of unemployed and underemployed graduate that we now have. Federal government is over dwelling on oil and this is giving politician an opportunity to steal. Nigerian future lies with agriculture, oil is gone for good. My remark does not mean we should encourage vandalism of our pipeline in Nigeria. I am of the view that there should be enabling laws to check the trend of destruction of government properties. But the Buhari administration should without wasting time diversify our economy from this monoproduct one we are operating at the moment. 4 Likes |
