Lokomotiv Moscow and Oumar Niasse are the names on the lips of most EPL teams, after the forward sealed a £13.5m move to Merseyside Everton some hours ago. While Niasse arrives with a big reputation , most football fans know very little about him . It is difficult to talk about the success of Niasse with mentioning his former head coach Igor Cherevchenko who with the help of his assistants Oleg Pashinin and Sarkis Oganesyan have built up the Lokomotiv Moscow team from the scratch. The coach and his two assistants were all former players of the club and also have led the club to third place in the league table with 32 points in 18 games . This means Locomotiv Moscow is only two points behind FC Rostov (34 points ) and city rivals CSKA Moscow (37 points).

The also Lokomotiv Moscow's revelation story wouldn't be complete without the mention of Senegalese forward Oumar Baye Niasse who is in the form of his life. This is in contrast to his first season in the club where he managed only four goals all season under two different managers namely Leonid Kuchuk and Miodrag Bozovic. This season, the striker has scored seven goals in 11 games with two assists, creating 10 goal scoring chances and having a shot accuracy of 53% . His goals include crucial ones against Skenderbeu and Sporting all in the Europa League, as well as against Zenit in the Russian Super Cup final . With this new found form , no one could have doubted that he will follow the footsteps of one could conclude that Niasse would follow in the footsteps of compatriot and ex-team mate Dame N'Doye who quit Lolomotiv for Hull City last season, before joining Sunderland again this winter.

Niasse was born on 18 April 1990 in Dakar Senegal. He played for US Ouakam in 2008 and shot to second spot in the league goal scoring chart. He also played for both the U21 and U23 of Senegal and signed for Brann in Norway after a successful trial. Niasse returned to Senegal after having an injury nightmare in Tippeligaen (Norwegian league ). He went back to Ouakam and after a failed trial at St. Etienne, he later joined Akhisarspor through a friend and ex Reading and Stoke defender, Ibrahim Sonko. Niasse was so unknown in Turkey when he arrived but left as a revelation before he left for Moscow and this was a credit to the managerial skills of then manager, Hamza Hamzaoglu (Hamza Hamzaoglu is presently the Galatasaray coach). Niasse scored 15 goals and made seven assists during his single season in Turkey.

Lolomotiv Moscow decided to sign the striker who arrived Moscow in 2014. Niasse struggled for form in Moscow, and couldn't break into the first team that comprised of forwards Roman Pavlyuchenko and N'Doye. Things got worse when his then manager , Bozovic preferred new signing Skuletic to Niasse even after N'Doye departed for Hull.

Things turned for the better when Igor Cherevchenko took over and Niasse scored a crucial goal in the Russian cup final . From there things continued positively for the striker. Niasse excels in a team that is counter attacking due to his pace and physical strength .

It is no surprise that Niasse has being a priority transfer for most European clubs in the summer/winter and if he could continue his form , football fans won't expect to see him play long for Everton as the sky is his limit. The 25 year old has high technical ability and the physicality required to play in the EPL. He will surely give Roberto Martinez selection headaches and the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Arouna Kone should expect a fierce competition in attack.
