Hollywood actor. He was born on October 1, 1962, in Lagos State to Nigerian parents from Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He has featured in several hit movies such as Hotel Rwandan, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and many TV series: 24, Lost, Law & Order, Criminal Minds amongst others.


WALE

US Rapper Wale, real name Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, was born to Nigerian parents both from Yoruba tribe, Ogun State, but grew up in the USA.


Reuben Abati
Reuben Abati was born November 7, 1965 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He was the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity
to former President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria.

Reuben Abati studied Theater Arts at the University of Calabar, where he graduated with first class honors and won the Vice-Chancellor’s prize for the best overall graduating student.

He was born on May 14, 1970 to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Osunkoya who were both Teachers in Sagamu, a city in Ogun State southwestern Nigerian but hails from Odosenbora town in Ijebu North East, a local government area of Ogun State.[He attended Satellite Town Primary School at Amuwo Odofin, a local government area in the Ojo Division of Lagos State before he attended the Airforce Secondary School at Ikeja, the capital of Lagos State. He later proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University where, though admitted for Religious Studies, he later obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts.

He was born in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State southwestern Nigeria. He spent his early life in Abeokuta at the palace of Alake of Egbaland where he was exposed to the Yoruba culture. He attended Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in dramatic art and later proceeded to the University of Lagos where he received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mass communication.

Ogun state is blessed, we know that but i think we are supposed to be ahead of others with a wide margin in terms of development because we have got the best minds this country has to offer.. In terms of academics,religion, entertainment and politics. .ogun state is above all other states in the federation and Yorubas are ahead.. Others are trying too. Infact this list is too small sef, Mike adenuga, Subomi balogun, oba otudeko, Fola adeola etc
