The NMA Imo State went on a peaceful march today against the state of Health care system in Imo State. According to the NMA, DSS, police and other relevant security agencies were informed and they gave their go ahead order. The police later received an order from the Governor, who allegedly ordered them to shoot at the protesting the doctors. Some of the doctors received serious injuries. This is one of them, a Consultant, who was rushed to FMC, Owerri.

well i was an eye witness

the protest was peaceful till the doctors with their escorts of policemen got to warehouse round about. then another group of policemen stationed at the round about prevented their movement to the govt house. right there canisters of tear gas were fired at the doctors who upon recovery returned back to their sectariat along portharcourt road. rochas trampling on their right to protest

This is the reason y l've stopped voting. Vote them today, they turn against u tomorrow.
