Aggrieved students of the Ambrose Ali University (AAU), Ekpoma in Edo state -allegedly burnt down a departmental building to register their displeasure after their results were released and they found out they had failed massively.

Below is what a witness posted:
"This is a burning office in AAU Ambrose Ali University. It happened today around 1 am. This isn't the first time this is happening. And it always happen wen results are out. The students felt the lecturers gave them bad result on purpose. And they burnt the whole department building with everything in it. The departments involved are civil engineering and philosophy. Microbiology and education were also burnt to the ground."

In a sane environment with good educational system, complaint ought to be lodged at the floor of the school senate through the students' union govt.

You don't cut off the head to cure headache!

The sheep that is lying on the ground is lying on his skin.
This is what happens when every system is broken.
We are now raising cultists and thugs instead of students embarassed

And the animals that did this and those supporting this act are supposed to be the leaders of tomorrow?... These are supposedly the ones complaining that the older generation has refused to relinquish power?... How does burning your own department and destroying properties worth millions solve the problem?... What is even wrong with some black homo-sapiens?

At the end of the day, each student would be asked to pay N50,000 each before they graduate and then people will scream oppression.

Re: Students Burn Down AAU Departmental Building (pic) by Boss13: 3:47pm On Feb 05, 2016
Gross irresponsibility. The school authorities should fish out the masterminds and take them to the police. The entire students should be made to pay for the destruction.

Students should understand that they cannot fight authorities.

wtf... Students still do this??
This is craziness. Why on earth will you burn down department buildings??

They should all be rusticated and chased out. Then the school should admit only freshmen starting 2017
