Immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom, and Senate minority leader, Godswill Akbabio has registered his appreciation for President Muhammadu Buhari for not interfering with judicial processes during legal battles between himself, other candidates in his party, Peoples democratic party, (PDP) and those of the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

Senator Akpabio made this known yesterday at Ikot- Ekpene during the grand reception organised by the Ikot-Ekpene senatorial district consultative assembly for some distinguished sons and daughters of the state.

He congratulated Governor Udom Emmanuel, on his victory at the supreme court , describing it as a victory is for the masses.

Senator Akpabio who was flanked by his wife Ekaete, also thanked the good people of Akwa Ibom for rallying round the governor and PDP during the election and the legal tussle, she pledges God's blessing on them.

The former governor also expressed his position on the decision of Ikot Ekpene senatorial district for honouring him and his wife to a grand reception, and appealed to them too remain supportive of the Udom Emmanuel administration.
