I feel sad each time I see them on our roads in White Top on Green pants harrassing motorists, innocent bus conductors etc; sometimes causing troubles at bus terminals.

From Oshodi to Yaba, CMS to Aja, Okoko to Mile 2, Mile 12 to Ojuelegba all in Lagos. You see these urgly faces (usually put on these uniforms) running after commercial vehicles aggressively to collect one due or the other. These hoodlums have no regard for other road users as well as pedestrains. They can ignite fight at a slight issue.

Sometimes, they hold buses and their passengers hostage, beat up bus drivers and their conductors, cause passengers to fall off the bus. They also carry sticks, horse-whips, etc to cause havoc to anyone who by any chance stand their way. The Police can do them nothing!

These guys at most times operate under the influence of alcohol. Traffic Wardens are at their mercy as they control traffic to their advantage.

I know that the same thing happens in other major towns and cities in Nigeria e.g; Ibadan, Onitsha, Ore, Benin, Offa Garage - Ilorin, 9th Mile Enugu, Owerri etc.

In my own view, I see their acts as portraying Nigeria in bad image especially before foreigners.

We are talking about re-branding 9ja. GOVERNMENT SHOULD PLS DO SOMETHING!

Nairalanders should make their contributions here too.
