Abdul4trust1: Bros we deserve good govt in Edo state. Lucky Igbinedion and PDP almost ruined us, we then voted Oshiomhole but it seems there's no much difference. Same people in Edo PDP moved to APC when APC won, they're all the same. |

flokii: You took this right out of my mouth. UNTIL AND UNTIL the Igbos stop roaming about and develop their territory and steer the interest of other Nigerians to desire to live in the East, all na wash. What is the point of heading to Yoruba land and shouting about some vague accomplishments!?!? And there is also the fact that sooner or later the owner of the land will wake up. When the Yorubas eventually wake up there will be great trouble for the migrating Igbos. 1 Like |

Instead of bickering about over non-issues here as often seen, this statistical analysis provides an important issue to all of us: THE YOUNGER GENERATION SHOULD UNEQUIVOCALLY DEMAND FOR TRUE FEDERALISM OR REGIONALISM as the case may be. That is the only way to push this country out of this mess, cut down on ethnic suspicions and promote the best in every zone. This is what we should be asking for, not APC or PDP. The north will always be behind, if they think that being president is all there is to life. They better face it, their religion contributes up to 60% of their present ordeal. But they will never admit it. If they like, let them pump all the money in the world into their institution, they don't have an open system to embrace education. And thats why they don't want true federalism. But it would rather benefit than harm them. The greatest enemy of this country is the norther oligarchy, who don't want improved lifestyle for its people, but hide under the guise of the need to carry the north along for even development to take this country centuries backward. Why people are not speaking out is what I don't know. 1 Like |

Oblongata: Hello mister, have you seen publications from NUC lately? Quit living in a fools paradise and wake up to reality. Imo state has the highest number of professors in the country followed by Ekiti state. Empty chest thumping won't do you any good. For those who attribute the feat to Miracle Centres, did the eastern states also ask WAEC to give poor marks to students from your states? Would you have been happier if all the states failed but with the western states coming tops? The average student you see these days in Lagos is more interested in Pasuma, Whizkid, Davido or Olamide than anything else. You need to hear them sing those misogynist songs that they so much love to know where their problems lie. 3 Likes |

sapiosexual1:What a funny analysis you just ran here. You mean SW parents has acquired enough education so much that their kids no longer need to enroll in schools? How do you get to a plateau in school enrollment? It will really be hard to imagine you being part of any state policy making arm. |

Re: Education: Why South-west And North Should Be Worried by Nobody: 4:42pm On Feb 09, 2016 |
cecegorz:You totally misinterpreted me, OK let me break it down. Look at the telecoms growth in Nigeria, when it first came to us, we recorded astronomical growth for about 10years, in which we became the fastest growing telecoms hub in the world, that was our upward slope. At that time, it didn't mean we were better off than western countries but we simply had a faster growth and telecoms appreciation. Today the growth has slowed and we are gradually approaching our plateau, not becd buying phones or SIMs but because the proportionate growth is evening out. Our teledensity is still quite low for a country of our population, but we have made significant progress. 2 Likes |

donbrowser:Honestly, i am not surprise. I am presently serving in Ekiti somewhere at Ekiti East Local government. I teach mathematics and i would say without fear of being contradicted that out of the whole SS3 students, i can only pick three that might sit for their WAEC without expecting expo and most likely they might not make it (imagine 3 out of a class of nothing less than 60) simple -3+4 na wahala. Talk less of complex calculations. English Language is a big problem to them and mostly they hardly study. 2 Likes |
