My son and his nigerian wife have just named there baby ( my grandson ) Uzonna. Can anybody tell me the meaning ? Thanks |

Congratulations for your grandson Uzo means a path or road (literaly) Nna means Father (and or predecessors) the name could mean Father's Legacy. But could have a deeper meaning by the parents or who named the baby. Any which way, the name is a celebration, admiration honor, compliment for the Father and what he stands for. Father (and or predecessors) may be a great warrior, a king or a moralist etc A beautiful name celebrating a renowned Father. This is what I can come up with, not an expert. |
