we cant blame the banks ooo,cus Nigerians can steal anything. they will start from the disconnection of light and cables,so when they are ready to steal or rob from the machines and persons no body sees their face clearly..

If the wire is truly tied to a light bulb then it can't electrocute you by just falling on you. You have to hold the connecting point and actually allow current enter your bloodstream before such a small amount of current can do anything harmful. Have you ever been shocked by a fridge or another appliance? You can tell this is way less than stepping on a live wire grin grin grin

OP...... In as much I share your concern, It would have been better channelled to the people responsible instead of a public forum.
You may not know, but your post can cost someone his or her job and I mean someone with many mouths to feed and bills to pay....... There was a security man at the branch there, you could have just reported to him or better still if you visit the branch some other time, you report to the manager.... That way, you could be saving some people's future.
Thanks.

This is highly expected especially from a bank with reputation like first bank. I hope the security personnels around have been informed of this. I guess nobody else should be allowed to use the ATM point until the issue has been rectified. God will be our protector in this country where human lives are not valued.

Honestly the level of disregard and disrespect for customers coupled with ignorance of the rights of customer in this our country beats me.

How on earth van a Bank offer a public service of providing ATM services at the services at the same time endanger their loves by allowing the pass under a high tension electricity cable which can kill once mistakenly touched.

This one is not FG problem, the bank should go and fix it immediately.

... How can a bank not care about its customers. Is it fair that I get myself electrocuted in the process of collecting my hard earned money?...

You saw imminent danger and you still went ahead to use the ATM? What happened to the other ATM terminals in Mile 12?

well, the OP is a blogger, he prefer to make people visit his blog than thinking of the effect on the individual in charge. The OP even went as far as writing the name of the bank in a public forum, haba! Don't laugh while you make someone else cry now, they might not even be aware. Instead of making it a blog post why not inform the security, Nigeria is a country where you can get better news to post.
