IT IS TIME FOR LESS POLITICKING AND MORE GOVERNANCE

This is a clarion to all occupier of government seat to brace up and start working.
Eight months out of forty-eight means 18% of their current terms had gone with electoral tussle. We are glad that election petitions are gradually winding down with the major ones settled by the Supreme Court. In our clime, the first year of 4-year term is for adaptation and familiarization, then 2years for governance and the remaining one year is politicking for reelection or further post.

To those Governors that are still basking in euphoria of victories from Supreme court, your jubilation should be over by now and face governance.

For the PDP Governors who sailed through the needle's eye of the law, now it is time to tell the world that you will justify the mandates given to you by the voting public. You must surpass electorates expectations by providing good governance without political sentiment. There is a virus going on in the political seats, this is situation where elected people are making governance selectively based on votes received.

Also, to the beneficiaries of 13% derivation, it is evident that are your States can hardly show any impact of this fund to the point of owing pensioners and workers their emoluments.
It is time to justify that you are better managers than your opponents and predecessors.

Once again stop jubilating and get back to work for the governed to smile.
