If you like you call it Clinical laboratory science, MLS, Biomedical science my brother anywhere in the world you are referring to just one group=MLS. I don't like to argue just one link and I will give you myriad of links. Give me facts and don't argue blindly. In the United Kingdom, medical laboratory scientists are known as biomedical scientists and must hold an honours degree from a university accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) before they can embark upon a period of in-house training of at least one year before being assessed by the IBMS for state registration purposes. The title "biomedical scientist" is a protected title and can only be used by a person registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). |
