I believe we all have conscience as expected of humans. The problem with we Nigerians is we have this tendency to pretend that all is well and just in this country. We see evil brazenly...systematically being perpetrated against SE yet we pretend we don't see it. We can try to find excuses for the paltry 2.9 billion naira awarded to SE but we know deep down in our minds and conscience...THIS IS EVIL! Take a look at this table!

SE Governors must Reject The Ministry of Power, Works and Housing Budget Allocation. Tell the ministry...we don't need it!

Why do we always cry 'inequality' ONLY when the North don't get the lion share?

Why should they reject the Budget? Lol, Are they they suffering from cognitive dissonance?

Can one take Palm oil without having his mouth stained with oil?

This is the one Nigeria they want, they must accept it with all its baggage. This is only the beginning of things to come.

Buhari and his Yoruba friends are even being too magnanimous, 2 million naira allocation would have made more sense.

If they( Igbo greedy and selfish " one Nigeria" chanting elites) feel bad about this current development, they should line up themselves , their children, family, friends and well wishers to be used for practice target by the NPF and NA in the name of protests.

If they are expecting the normal Igbo youths to lead the line for them, then they are in for it.

NB: No Igbo politician will even protest this, they are all corrupt and the North/ Yoruba gang have their shady deals on their palms, if they talk Pim! Their corruption chapters will be opened and they will be openly disgraced, little wonder they are all running into the protection wings of APC. grin

It's still a budget proposal. However, you're standing logic on the head if on one hand iPod are threatening to cause mayhem, people like the op kept quiet, and you expect government to waste scarce resources on development when the most apparent need is security to contain any act of war against the state. As far as you can see, the money that should have gone to SE has been used to beef up security in the region.until sanity is restored in that region, there can never be any meaningful development.

President Buhari looked at Dr. Baker and said, “I hope you have a copy of the election results. The constituents, for example, gave me 97% [of the vote] cannot in all honesty be treated on some issues with constituencies that gave me 5%.”

Don't look at the monetary breakdown. Look at the number of capital projects. SE got the most. The allocation monetarily can't be equal to other regions due to a smaller land mass. We're about to get the 2nd Niger bridge.

Second niger bridge spanned from SS to SE.
So it is not solely a SE business per se.

You are Being too emotional and hence not thinking coherently.

The governors you expect to protest for you are all corrupt and beneficiaries of one Nigeria national cake, they are all corrupt and can't protest against any injustice against Ndiigbo, cos their corruption chapters will be opened and used against them by their Northern masters and Yoruba friends.

They know that one Nigeria is built on Igbo marginalization, but are nevertheless one Nigerian apologists, expecting miracles to happen or that they be accepted by their masters.

My advice to you, is to stop worrying about issues like this particular one, the more the SE is starved of FG funds, the more Igbo looting elites who sing one Nigeria are starved of their normal loots( cos they end up looting the funds meant for Ndiigbo, which is exactly why their interests are often anti Igbo), the less they have energy to chant one Nigeria, and the better for us the Igbo commoners.

That daily trust report has to be put under scrutiny...now this link is a complaint by the senate that they cannot pass the budget presented..in tho report ekweremadu was seen complaining about the inequality in money allocated to projects in different zones.however he is quoted to say that Enugu ph expressway got 10bn and Enugu Onitsha got 3bn but these two projects were not mentioned in the daily trust report..this news was 21/1/2016

Op have you ever bothered to ask yourself why it is only dailytrust that has carried this news of 2.9billion for the south east?

Have you also bothered to ask yourself why the report counts as a project in the SE, N17billion for the 2nd Niger Bridge, but it ends up saying the total for the SE is 2.9billion?

Have you also ever bothered to ask yourself why Ekweremmadu complained that only N10billion was earmarked for the Enugu-PH road and N3billion for the Onitsha-Enugu road: http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2016/01/2016-budget-cant-work/
Yet even with the above, Dailytrust still states that the total for the SE is N2.9billion?

Dont you think the right thing to do is to wait until we get clearer reportage of these figures before we start opening threads to wail?

Most road projects span more that one zone, e.g. the Sagamu-Benin road was listed in the SW (probably cos most of it falls in the SW).

I used to see you claim to be igbo, but guess what? You're very worthless! Sagamu -benin road you are talking about has nothing to do with SS! from ondo to Benin is very solid. People call it Sagamu -benin doesn't mean it will enter into benin..
