Business and vehicular activities were disrupted today in calabar as members of the National Association of Persons with Disability, Cross River State Chapter took to the street to protest the allege discrimination against its members. The protesters who barricaded the popular Cross River Basin Authority in 8 miles were seen carrying various placards to drive home their points. All efforts to make them sheath their sword proved abortive as at the time of writing this report. Part of their demands are:
-Equal right for employment
-Favourable government policies
-improved welfare of its members
-A bus for the association to ease their transportation. Among others.

The rate at which everyone takes to the street, barricading everywhere, to buttress their agitation is alarming.

At least they are not begging for alms like some certain people. Instead they are demanding equal rights for employment. I hope the govt listens to them.
