Ebonyi State Government has accused political opponents and enemies of the present administration led by Governor Dave Umahi of using charms and various fetish means to bring down the government.
The Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Emmanuel Onwe who revealed this on Wednesday, said that failed politicians are all out and hell bent in their attacks against Governor Umahi and his Executives, inorder to bring them down through the consultation of shrines and mystical powers.
He said: "Failed politicians are hell bent in bringing down the government and have been consulting rural shrines and holding several community meetings.
"Those who want to distract government, for example, they go to rural shrines and organise community meetings to attack members of EXCO or create scenario that will distract members. They are warned to desist from such acts as this government will resist it".
Onwe also maintained that this administration would not allow any form of distraction, whether it be physical or diabolic.
