Banned Fifa president, Sepp Blatter, has insisted that he is not guilty of any corruption allegations while in power just six days before his successor is elected.

The 79-year-old administrator, who has appealed the decision of the football federation was banned for eight year ban from the sport, following a "disloyal payment" of £1.3m, which Blatter paid to Uefa president Michel Platini before winning his fifth Fifa presidential election in May.

Blatter also insisted the vote to host the 2022 World Cup was not fixed, saying: "You cannot buy a World Cup." The Times
