@dadson2009 you will pay for transport, what l usually do is to take the goods to the park and connect you to the driver on phone and you agree on what to pay which you will give him as soon as you get the goods.

Buy 6 weeks old turkey and sell in December

I will teach you how to ration their food so that you won't spend much and yet feed
them well so as to maximise your profits.

If you buy 55 pieces of 6 weeks old turkeys

In this order, 40 males and 15 females

Males at N1,500 x 40 = N60,000

Females at N1,300 x 15 = N19,500

6 feeders at N....... Find out in your area

3 drinkers at N...... Find out in your area

Make feed ie grower feed mash at N80 per kg...... Find out the price in your area

At maximum age ie maturity each bird will eat 100g per day

So for 55 birds

In 7 days or a week

Each will eat 100g at maturity

55 birds will eat (100 x 7 x 55) /1000 = 38.5kg

A formulated branded feed is 25kg

This means you will need 38.5/25 = 1.54 bags

Ie you will need one and half bags to feed 55 matured turkeys but less to feed them at 6- 20 weeks old.

At 7 weeks old give the birds fowl pox vaccine, 200 dose is N600 sufficient for 55 birds

Antibiotics twice in a week ie mon, tue and wed for 7 weeks

Make sure that you have nylon to cover the farm against rainfall intery in the pen
