In line with responding to the yearnings from residents and other Lagosians who have reasons to use the ever busy Berger Bus-stop, Gov Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the immediate construction of the Bridge, the contractor, China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) has moved to site, work has commenced, and the project is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

This bridge will enable pedestrians navigate both sides of the road without hassles.

China Civil Engineering Company

It is well.

We hardly see Chinese Hospitals in Nigeria, we hardly see Chinese schools. It is always about our engineers despite building engineering faculties in virtually every state in Nigeria.

May God help us.

Let the works be properly done and monitored. Let standard materials be used so that it will not become death trap for the people within a short time. Let contracts not be inflated where they will use #100 for the works but also put #100 or #200 in their own pockets and still say they are working and let there be no propaganda. God bless everyone who faithfully support and put hands for the growth and development of Nigeria but cursed be all who are truly working against the progress of Nigeria one way or another. Amen

How sure are you about the bolded point? Because, as far as i can remember, Berger is after the "WELCOME TO LAGOS" signpost where the 3 Lagos Obas have their statues standing tall, though the statues have been removed from the highway

Ojodu, Berger, Akiode, are purely ogun state but due to the carelessness of ogun state leader, Lagos is expanding and people staying in these boundary are ready to move with Lagos..

When fashola brought his too much policy they shouted and start claiming ogun state put sign board though some part where able to claim ogun state...

There's Tinubu Estate @ isheri olofin behind Opic I repeat Opic claiming Lagos State.. That's why he's really Jagaban

But in future war between ogun state and Lagos will surely erupt In terms of boundaries..

Most of the technical works are done by Nigerians for these foreign companies with the peanut they pay them as renumeration. I had witnessed an expatriate that couldn't interpret a measuring tape and was made a concrete sectional head. Let us endeavour to buy Nigeria.

Is this the bridge/road that leads ijoko/sango in ogun state?

If this is true then it'll shorten travel time for those going to ikeja/agege and environs.
Re: Ongoing Work At Berger Bus Stop Bridge (photos) by dguizman(m): 2:42pm On Feb 25, 2016
A bridge should have been constructed there as far back as y2k....Thank God gov Ambode put that in his agenda.
