A bomb blast occurred at the Jimeta Divisional police headquarters in Yola, Adamawa state capital, on Thursday. A security source confirmed the attack to The Cable, saying the incident happened around 12pm. Sani Dati, spokesman of the Adamawa state emergency agency, also confirmed the attack but did not give details. “Yes it is true that there was a bomb blast in Jimeta but I don’t have the details at the moment,” he said. “Our men are on ground and we are in touch with them.
